While specific associations have been identified between digital habits and physical markers, the long-term, population-level health impact is still being determined. For example, while repetitive stress on the neck is theorized to influence skin health, current dermatological research has not established a definitive causal link between device-related posture and long-term neck wrinkling. As such, researchers cited in the report emphasize maintaining a balance between digital activities and regular physical movement.
