Huawei Quietly Raises Nova 15 Prices: Is Your Next Upgrade Getting More Expensive?

Huawei has officially updated the retail prices for several smartphone models in China, including the Nova 15 series and the Nova 14 Vitality, extending the company’s recent pricing adjustments beyond newly launched products. The new rates took effect in July 2026, following the company’s broader portfolio review that began on July 1.

Updated Pricing Structure

Last month, Huawei announced a comprehensive price adjustment plan for its devices. While earlier expectations suggested that these changes would focus primarily on new product launches, the latest updates confirm that the company has repositioned existing mid-range smartphones under the new pricing tier.

This development follows similar hardware pricing updates within the Huawei ecosystem, where revised versions of the MatePad 11.5 S and MatePad Air 12-inch tablets were recently introduced with price increases ranging from 500 to 800 yuan.

Nova 15 Series Retail Pricing

The Nova 15 series has received a 300-yuan price increase across most configurations.

Nova 14 Vitality Adjustment

Alongside the Nova 15 lineup, Huawei has adjusted the cost of the Nova 14 Vitality model. The device is now listed at 2,399 yuan, an increase of 200 yuan from its previous 2,199 yuan valuation.

Market Context

Huawei has not publicly explained the reason for the latest adjustments. Pricing changes across the consumer electronics industry can be influenced by multiple factors, including manufacturing costs, supply chains, regional pricing strategies, and market conditions.

The revised prices are now reflected across the affected models in China. Huawei has not indicated whether similar adjustments will expand to other product lines or regions.
